Quality assurance is the process of finalizing the translator’s or editor’s work. Often it is more than just proofreading, as there are different levels: spelling, grammar, syntax, and usage are one level, and cultural sensitivity and accuracy are another.
QA is central to our approach, with only the best translators finalizing texts, in whose subject matter they specialize or have a good amount of experience.
The QA process at Spectrum Translation is mostly not automated. This means that translators, proofreaders, and editors look at the texts individually, ensuring both correctness of translation and cultural and conceptual accuracy.
